For this project, I was tasked with recreating the pen and ink work of a master. I chose this Star Wars illustration. I used faber-castell pens on bristol board. I began by sketching out the general outlines of the piece as a guide and adding in the inked areas afterward. It took a long time to learn the style of this master and recreate it in an accurate way. This project helped me to gain confidence in my pen and ink skills and provided me the chance to study how a master created his illustrations.
